Today i was walking on the streets heading towards railway station. It was a normal day. Sun showing off its hotness. Fruit sellers earning their bread and butter. A group of girls giggling and having fun. Mother buying balloons for her kid that gets a bright smile on that innocent face Leaves dancing. Birds singing their jingles. I plugged my skullcandy earphones, swaying to the tunes of "i knew you were trouble" by Taylor Swift, that's when i heard a non familiar voice "Excuse me", which broke my motion and certainly i turned back to respond. Yes?
There was a lady on activa asking me whether i was going towards station? I said yes with a hesitant tone and a confused look. Come sit, even i am going there, i'll drop you said that lady. There was still a question mark on my face, several questions running through my mind. Why me? What if her intentions are wrong? Is she a thief? What if she kidnaps me by giving this offer? What if she takes me to some secret place? Does she want my wallet? What is she up to? Reading my bewildered face she said "come beta don't worry, i'll drop you safe". I accepted her offer and decided to go with the flow. My mind was clouded with questions and sudden hault made me realise that i was already at the station, safe and risk free. I gave her a thanking smile to which she returned with equal warmth.
She helped me with pure intentions but i was the one who was judging her. There are people who wants to genuinely help people but we are blind folded by negativity. Residing in the world with increasing crimes, we believe that every individual who wants to help you unconditionally has some wrong intentions. He/she has some plans to harm us or is trying to manipulate us. But we should not fail to remember that there are people who wants to help. May be because they believe more in giving instead of just taking. We mistake such person as maniacs where actually we are lunatic. Don't get so lost into negativity that you blur your positive vision where all seems fake to you. Spreading sanguinity is the new change!
